CURRENT PROGRAM
Faith-based cancer prevention outreach that focuses on breast,
cervical and prostate cancer prevention education. Specific content of
the programs includes healthy lifestyles management, self-examination techniques when applicable, regular health care screens, and early treatment.
These programs are interactive with breast, cervical and prostate models; videos; written hand-outs; informal discussions; pre- and post-assessment; and brief educational lectures. All programs are free and available upon request. These programs are current unfunded and therefore provided by the volunteer hours of board members, staff, and community volunteers.
